The accreditation is achieved through the development of robust health and safety systems which are audited over two audits.

Holding OSHAS 18001 means that K2 Environmental has:

  • Demonstrated to an accredited auditor that its systems, processes, plans, practices and records work together, providing a focused approach to Health and Safety
  • Adopted the 18001 framework across the organisation, and across its services, including stack testing, asbestos surveys, mould testing, silica dust analysis, methamphetamine testing and noise measurement
  • Met all its legal requirements, as related to Health and Safety
  • Worked proactively to reduce all incidents within its business
  • Passed a 12 monthly audit to hold this accreditation
