What We Do

K2 Environmental Ltd performs air discharge testing-stack testing, ambient air testing and workplace testing. We hold accreditation to ISO 17025 which demonstrates our commitment to quality. We comply with the requirements of ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices at the tertiary level which demonstrates our commitment to health and safety.

Candidates must have the following attributes:

• a desire-passion to learn,
• Initiative, organisational and planning skills,
• ability to travel
• will like a mixture of outdoor and indoor work.
• will have a full driver's licence.
• has an interest in learning new skills.
• will comply with health and safety systems.

What would you be doing?

The tasks include:

• Air discharge sampling - sampling and analyzing air discharged from industrial sites
• Ambient air and Occupational Health air quality sampling
• Project management and communicating with suppliers, subcontractors and clients
• Reporting of data gathered, and maintaining quality and safety systems.

Qualifications and Experience
Current and previous team members have degrees in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geography, Information Technology, Fine Arts and Biochemistry. No experience is required as we provide full training

You can expect to spend approximately 40%-60% of the time in the field, 30-50% of time in the office on a computer and 10-30% in the lab or workshop doing analysis and servicing equipment. As indicated before full training is given to all aspects of the role. When working in the field, you can be expected to travel to any area within New Zealand and potentially overseas.
