Ambient Air Sampling
Ambient Air Sampling is used when you need to
know what is in the air in the environment. Often ambient air sampling
is performed to verify a model or to determine the effect of a discharge.
There are numerous methods that can be used to
perform ambient air sampling. These range from simple, inexpensive
to complex and detailed.
K2 Environmental can offer a range of ambient air solutions to
complement your stack testing requirements. We have experience
in continuous, active and passive sampling methods. Each of these
methods has strengths and limitations and we can help you to match
a method with your requirements.
K2 Environmental have the capabiltity to test and report
the following species from ambient air:
- Low cost screening methods for N02, S02 and volatile organic
compounds (VOC) e.g. passive sampling methods-ISO 17025 analysis
results
- Meteorological measurements-wind speed, wind direction,
barometric pressure, temperature.
- Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Particulate Matter 10µm
(PM10) and chemical analysis of components such as lead, zinc,
copper, and other elemental analysis and PAH' s
- Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC' s) by a range of sampling methods
- Analysis of Semi Vol PM10 filters with a five decimal place
balance in an air conditioned balance room
- Analysis of High Volume filters as per AS/NZS 3580,9.6:2003.
Accredited to ISO 17025 for this analysis and sampling.
- Deposit Guage Sampling and Analysis
